Depends on how your peanut butter is made.
If its got suger in it then many "mixes" may taste awful.

I like it "unsugared".

But with fresh sliced tomatoes and pepper, its great!

Also PB with bananas give you an energy boost. The enzymes in the bananas and the PB combine to give out more than the two seperatly.

oh ya banana and sugar, thats one of my favourites, as the type of PB I usuallu use brand name kraft, I'll have to try the tomatoe and pepper one

Q. What's the difference between peanut butter and an elephant?

A. Peanut butter sticks to the roof of your mouth, an elephant doesn't.

I just wanted to point out that supposedly this thread has been visited over 8500 times with only 6 replies. Do those numbers seem odd to anybody? That is a lot of visits.

found this ...

FORTIFIED WHOLE-GRAIN CEREAL WITH SLICED BANANA Most fortified cereals are full of B vitamins, which work with enzymes to break food down into energy. Bananas provide potassium, which helps the muscles contract and the body maintain its fluid balance.

Hard to find the explict answer on the net, - its "athletic chat" I suppose. However nuts and bananas are a really important combination when exercising.

OMG there's obviousley a lot of peanut butter fans on this site.
personally I like my peanut butter mixed with chocolate spread
another way that I've eaten it is toasted with sugar sprinkled over it . The peanut butter gets a different taste to it and the sugar becomes a crispy glaze over the top of it.
try it and let me know what you think.

Peanut butter with nanners is one of my favorites. I also like peanut butter with best foods mayo, or helmans depending on what side of the mississippi river you live on. Also I like me a peanut butter samich with some sweet pickles or sweet pickle relish on it. My wife looks at me like I am from another planet when I put mayo or pickles on it, but I enjoy it.

I would like to go out on a limb and recommend peanut butter and sweet onion; sounds yucky, at first, but let me tell you that when you combine a nice, rich, creamy (or even chunky),peanut butter sandwich with some sliced bermuda or vidalia onions, you are in for a taste treat! Good eatin', especially with a tall glass of ice cold milk.
