Our Defense Minister Mr Ivanov is disappointed with the military budget and he expresses it ........this proves that he is aware of his situation .
May be Its an intelligent Diplomacy to make your enemies Underestimate you or may be both.

But to all of you in this forum who use the issue of lack of fund I must say that this small Fund is the SECOND LARGEST MILITARY BUDJET IN THIS PLANET Bigger than China ...which is already a "Threat" to the US ..............so if China with a budget lower than the US and Russia can become a threat for US then why not Russia....?

now about Technology...
Stereotypes speak about " Rusting Soviet" weapons in the Russia Military but what about the three official (may be 10 unofficial )secret Military CITIES( bigger than the New York) in Siberia? No one(except the2 00 000 scientist, president and Def Minster ) in this world know what's going out there........every attempt of foreign media of exploring the cities have failed including the ones from New York Times in 1998...I m sure they have far more technologically superior weapons out there than those that we are selling to China and India bcoz
according the Russian constitution the State can never sell a Technology to a foreign country( even her ally) unless it has a far superior technology than what it is selling
Many of the people of St Petersburg have seen aircrafts over the deserted villages which cant be identified with any of the Migs, Sukhois and Fs (forget about the rest).
One more proof ...there is an artillery museum in St Petersburg that exhibits REAL VERSIONS of T 90s and Su 30MKI so if they can exhibit MKI and T90s in a MUSEUM Then ...........................................................?

I think many of the rising powers of today’s world are playing stupid diplomacy.......and the country at the top of the list is our best friend INDIA..........
the Indian DIPLOMACY is the as Stupid as intelligent is her Military scientist ...................they target Pakistan as their top threat ......and forget about China...there was only one indian minister(Ex-defense minister George Fernandes) to dared to get out of the fool's Paradise and name China as India's main threat ...but he was forced to retreat by the Indian Diplomats ........the Indian political leaders continue to please the public and win votes by showing them how superior they are against Pakistan ............a country which is technically atleast 30 years behind India
and keep the country ignorant about China .......
So does the Indian Media...in Indian Newspapers (and also in this forum )u ll find reports full of news full of Advanced Military Technology ...advanced enough for Pakistan(which was and is never a potential threat to India )but both the media and the political leaders keep the country ignorant of the Chinese threat.....
all over the indian Media and forums you find reports like" India Rising" .....blah blah blah......but no where you ll find about the Chinese Funded Maoists slowly but steadily capturing the whole of East India......in North Eastern States like Meghalaya Mizoram Manipur and Nagaland the grip of Indian Military is poor that you cant even raise the Indian flag in those territories(all aided by China)..same is the condition with the entire IndoChinese boder where China has illegally occupied vast territories of India ........

TODAY The greatest threat to Human Civilization is China ....A country eveil in all ways...more dangerous than the Nazi Germany ....




so now you people decide which one is a wiser option ...being aware of your shortcomings and letting people underestimate you or ...living in a fools paradise .letting people over estimate you and loosing your territories?

And the Russian govt is encouraging a russo-sino-indian alliance... so it would be better for India and china to get to know each other..

The upholders are essentially a trafalger class without the nuclear reactor. There is nothing crap about them. We stopped using them in the early 90's due to budget cuts following the end of the cold war.
