Good story, thanks for the link. I can't believe they let tourists vandalize these precious works of art.
I hope they can save them, they are unique.

Okay...so you have an island...make anyone who steps foot on it...give homage and an "offering" to the statues. Looks like plenty of money is going somewhere...why not to the Moai?
