This summer I will be sailing throughout the south pacific starting at Ecuador>Galapagos>?>Western Samoa. Anyone know of any good islands to hit on the way? Nothing out of the way like Phoenix or Pitcairn. I heard the Tuamotu's are good in French Poly. and so are the Marquesas, also in French Polynesia. Between French Polynesia and Western Samoa is really what I'm looking for. I got Tahiti on lock, Moorea and Bora Bora are on the list. Anything I missed?

I see I missed replying to you by 3-4 years (oops) but Tonga and especially the northern islands are a sailing mecca. Lot's of whale activity. Several volcanic islands. Friendly people.
