The article speaks for itself. Company gets raided, illegals rounded up, now lines out the door with Americans applying to fill the now vacant jobs.

No doubt, there are a ton of people in this country, and of this country, who desperately need work.

I work in a field that has NO competition from illegal immigrants, but I can appreciate the needs of others, in this case, for jobs that are hard, but require little education, and pay decently enough.

Those sorts of jobs are few and far between these days.

As it turned out, the Colorado Workforce office that was taking applications did not require any identification.

I thought that was an interesting statement from the article.
That the state workforce office does NOT require authentication of the right to work in the country? Wha?

This is going on all the time, and all these hiring companies have such wonderful innocent excuses when they get implicated.

Until the US government puts some bite into the laws that these companies so easily 'forget' about, corporate America wont give a damn and there will always be low paying no benny jobs just waiting for the next illegals to fill.

There will also be hi-paying full benny jobs waiting too.

From Fortune 500 companies all the way down to small companies such as a local lawn care company, from aircraft maintenance and airports all the way to restaurants and contractors, the government just lends a blind-eye attitude to the 'innocent' propreitors.

And then they wonder why a million illegals enter this country every year.
