PODcast: Vietnam History - Episode 6 - Dust Off

This is an outstanding 9 Episode audio documentary that was sent to me recently from a Vietnam Historian that was also a big fan of Radio First Termer. It takes the listener on a journey from the hopeful beginning of President John F. Kennedy to the bitter end on a rooftop of the American Embassy in 1975. What could we have learned that would have prevented the mistakes that would follow after in Iraq? Listen… then make your own conclusions.

Number 6::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Hey First Termer....

I started listening to these about 5 days ago, and finished up today (Christmas Day)...

The series is extremely well put together... I have to say that
it moved me in a bit of depression after awhile and I had to stop
and take a break from listening and do something else to take my mind off of it...

A tremendous documentary which sounds as if it should've been a TV Production.

I hope you don't mind.. But I'm just going to copy and paste this post in all the series episodes as I really don't know what more I could say about them.

Great production...

Johnny

Dust Off has to do with personal stories of what the nurses, medics and chopper pilots went through to retrieve the wounded in hostile fire situations. The nurses memories and nightmares of what she saw will rip you a new one.
