Bush wants to expand the military just curious what you guys think about how we will do this when so many of us Americans believe we are not getting anywhere in Iraq? Do you guys think their will be enough volunteers to make the expansions we need?

There will be another threat... Iraq will fade away from the news and Bush & Cheney will claim Iran or Syria or maybe even North Korea is the new threat. And getting enoug volunteers really isn't a problem. Just make sure there is enough powery and people will line up for military duty. If this is not fast enough, and they REALLY want to push this as far as they can, they will institute another draft. IMHO...

The real problem is that we don't enough money to pay volunteers, we are getting demishing returns because we have to pay more and give bonus.

A volunteer army can be delivered much more cheaply!

Yet again this President is going against the opinions and advice of the people that know and say that doing such a thing would not be a good idea. This guy is his own enemy.

Yes...Bush has to undone the damage caused by Clinton; he downsized the armed forces.

Expansion and 50,000 more troops to secure the borders should have been done YEARS AGO. Now is NOT the time to be doing it. We are turning control of Iraq over to the Iraqis more and more each day. We are supposed to be pulling out and letting them run their own country.

He's doing this backwards.
