Most likely it is some pimply faced kid hacking a website trying to look important, or then someone in power is stirring the pot and trying to confuse the issue by playing around with the information. Either way, I'd ignore that attempt and focus on the orginal information. Not that doing so will change anything though
I'm of the opinion that the less everyone knows about this technology the better.

On a side note, does anybody know much about the ancient harmonic language of the Hebrews? See any parallel ideas?

Watched it on the Google link, it was easier just to listen with the bad sync.

It's the usual mish-mash. Some info was right, some wrong, some mis-interpreted, a lot of trying to get you to draw to wrong conclusions (Begich and Manning do a lot of that as well).

The HAARP guys and Eastlund were, as I expected, pretty much accurate.

Begich and Manning were, as usual, pretty much wrong, as are the Flanagans. The others were a mixed bag.

Personally, I have a lot of trouble placing any credence in crystals-and-unicorns types, which seemed to make up the bulk of the refutation side in the video.

What was interesting is that there are some really interesting facets of the HAARP system that the video seemed to brush against but never addressed directly, or they started down the trail and got the punchline wrong. I have noted in the past that Begich did this as well; I can only suspect that he got some 'real' info but didn't know how to interpret it. Actually, I found it odd that they didn't really go into many of the actual applications of it at all, but spent the whole hour on a lot of badly edited one-liners and 'what ifs'.

A lot of the stuff in the ARCO patents that I see someone linked to above are for a different array than HAARP. There are some gross similarities, but a lot of the wilder effects take a lot more ass than HAARP can deliver. That array may not need to be done now, AF and Navy are moving a lot of this to satellites.

How about the earthquakes in Pakistan and Afghanistan ?

Tsunamis ?

Very interesting if it can be used against other countries with whom one is having a conflict ??

I have a wild imagination...runnin' with it

hmm, yes, let me guess.

Now the evil white, crazed satanists in America have started to use mother nature to cause destruction in muslims lands.

I remember all the threads on here after the Tsunami disaster

If I may, I have a question - I haven't watched the video yet (still at work) but will do so as soon as I get home. And this question may be addressed. In fact, I may really jumping the gun, but sometimes if I don't post a question when I think of it - you know how that goes...

At any rate - I noticed a couple of interesting numbers above - 1 billion watts? And they want to get up to 100 billion? Just exactly how are they powering this thing? Without melting it?

Once again - apologies if this is answered in the video, which I will definitely be watching tonight...

Now that you say that, could this have been the cause of the power grid to go down in the North East part of North America a couple of years back??

I don't think they DO answer it in the video, but it's ERP, not actual power.

Since Gakona is a directional array, you have transmit array gain. How to explain it.

Ok. All antennas are compared to a mythical beast called an isotropic antenna. This is an antenna with a perfect spherical radiation pattern. That doesn't actually exist, but if it did, it would have a gain of "1" (avoiding dBs here for clarity).

So, your isotropic antenna puts out equal power in all directions, sort of like the Sun radiating light. Imagine a light bulb like that...a perfect sphere of light that radiates equally in all directions. You're standing at, say, 10 meters from it, and you note how much light that is.

Ok. Now, we take your light, and we rig a reflector around the back of it, so that all the light squirts toward you in a tight cone instead of radiating equally in all directions. It would seem brighter, yes? All the power of that light, which hasn't changed, is now mostly coming your way instead of going everywhere. The light's output hasn't really changed. But now, since it's all coming your way, more or less, it looks as if it's brighter.

Let's say that in order for an isotropic light, the sort without a reflector, to look just as bright to you as the light with the reflector, you have to have 10 times the power. So your isotropic light has to be 10x as powerful to look like the light with reflector. This means your reflector (the Gakona directional array in this analogy) has a gain of 10.

Another way of looking at it, is that if it takes a 100W isotropic light bulb to look as bright as a 10W light with a reflector, that the light with reflector is effectively putting out 100W of light. It isn't really...it's putting out 10W of light. But as far as you are concerned, standing in the direct beam of the light at 10 meters, it can't be distinguished from a 100W light bulb. So we call this "Effective Radiated Power", or ERP for short.

The Gakona array isn't really putting out 1GW of RF power, it's putting out 1GW of ERP, which is totally different. The ERP number means that if you were standing in the focus of the beam, and knew the distance from your position to the plane of the array, you could measure the incident power at your position, and knowing the distance to the source, your computation of the source power would seem to you as if you were looking at a 1GW isotropic source. Note that the amount of power falling on you might be miniscule..remember that the power radiated by an isotropic source falls off as the square of the distance.

1GW sounds like a lot, and it is. But I notice also in the video they carefully dance around Gakona's actual RF output number (about 4 MW), and making comparisons to other transmitters.

Let's look at that. The Gakona array emits an actual radiated power of right at 4MW, and an ERP of 1GW. WWHO, a TV station in Columbus OH, radiates an ERP of 5GW. KLAX TV's in Alexandria, LA puts out 1.29GW of ERP. WSRE, the local PBS affiliate, puts out 3GW ERP.

In fact, a lot of TV stations outside of congested metro areas put out over 1GW of ERP, and way more than 4MW of actual RF output power, because they're not as directional as the Gakona array. That increased directionality gives you a much higher antenna gain.

No, 1GW of ERP is a big transmitter, but it's not anywhere near the top end, and it's not at all uncommon. They play that 1GW number for all it's worth in the video but don't give you any baseline for comparison, nor do they elaborate on how that number is derived.

text from another site

SAN FRANCISCO - An unexplained power surge in the West Coast's main
electrical transmission line caused blackouts and other power power
disruptions across eight Western states early Wednesday, shutting down a
nuclear plant and forcing doctors to operate by flashlight.

As many as two million customers from Arizona to Washington went without
power for periods ranging from a few seconds to several hours when a
stretch of the giant 500-kilovolt Pacific power grid went dead just after
midnight.

The blackout darkened the homes of 1 million California customers and
interrupted power to patches of Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington,
Idaho and Montana.

An initial inspection showed no breaks in the section where the trouble
began, a 60-mile line between Tracy and Fresno in California's Central
Valley.

"We believe it was a power surge from outside our service area, and a
substation tripped to prevent an overloading of our system, just as a
circuit breaker would do in your house," said Bill Sessa, Pacific Gas &
Electric Co. spokesman.

Coincidence I ask?

HAARP Program Milestones

The world's biggest battery was plugged in yesterday to provide emergency power to one of the United States' most isolated cities.
The rechargable battery, which at 2,000 square metres is bigger than a football pitch and weighs 1,300 tonnes, was manufactured by power components specialist ABB to provide electricity to Fairbanks, Alaska's second-largest city, in the event of a blackout.
World's biggest battery switched on in Alaska

While we are on the topic of coincidences.

The Gakona array doesn't use outside power. They use diesels for transmitter power. And only 4 to 5 MW of that.

Tom Bedlam - thanks!! Your explanation is excellent. I did finally watch the video - wow is the sound off - by like 3 or 4 minutes!! Although they don't specify a power source, it is reasonably explained, and with your additional comments I understand at least well enough to see that it's certainly possible.

Here's another question - they were explaining early into the video that they were able to locate gas pockets in several states with 100% accuracy, using only, what was it - 50 watts or something like that?
Is this technology still in use? Anyone want to go into business with me?
Yikes!

So it's just a coincidence then as far as your concerned? Why should you build such a facility with such a very limited power supply? Four or five MW might be useful for research but we all know that's not what that facility is intended for...

Sure. I don't see any connection at all. Fairbanks is something like 200 miles away as the Cessna flies, about 240 if you drive it. What, were you envisioning them sucking up all the power on the grid so that it caused blackouts in the Northwest? I'm not sure that Alaska is even on the same distribution network since you have Canada in the way, although I'm too lazy to call up a feeder map this morning. I don't THINK they run off the same grid.

Did you see blackouts in Alaska coincident with the one in the northwest?

At any rate, the HAARP facility in Gakona uses some local power for the buildings (although they have standby generators) but the array power is all diesel. Can you imagine the sizes of the transmission lines needed to bring in enough power to "suck the US dry" or whatever you're envisioning? They just aren't there, nor do I think Canada would have appreciated us running them across Canada.

It also wouldn't make sense if this was supposed to be the tactical death weapon it's made out to be that you would depend solely on civilian power, they'd put in generators, or a freakin' nuke plant. Any bozo with a few pounds of Semtex could cut a cross-country HV line.

Flight 800 was hit by a missile. This has been proven via independent research. Explosive residue from a dummy warhead used in tests was found on interior cabin surfaces recovered from the wreckage. I knew people involved w/ the Flight 800 investigation, that incident opened my eyes for the first time to high-level government corruption and led me to where I am now...

Lucky for me i am only suggested that the incidents are connected as i can most certainly not prove it....

Have not checked that out ...

Don't really know enough hence the speculative nature of my information i presented....

They just aren't there, nor do I think Canada would have appreciated us running them across Canada.

As if the Canadians could say 'no'! If don't think my original 'idea' had anything to do with battery installation and i just thought the power disruption might have had something to do with a HAARP operational test....

That would kinda give away the true nature of the HAARP installation so i am not sure that was ever a possibility. I have briefly looked to see if i could discover a main line connection running right up the west coast to Alaska but have not found a map just yet.

That being said i was probably reaching in my attempt to connect the battery so directly with the HAARP installation but it did seem a odd place to build the world's largest battery. Time will tell ...

This does not mean i don't know it's a Geophysical weapon station but thanks for showing up the obvious ( in retrospect) shortcomings of what i presumed from the data in respect to where it might get it's power from.

If I could vote every one of you a way above for the info in this thread i would do.

Its made me open my eyes to alot of new stuff, taught me some real interesting stuff, and has given me a thirst for more on HAARP.

I thank each and every one of you who have contributed.

My deepest appreciation to you all.

Hrm. There's some stuff I'm not enjoined against discussing, but it's really technical. If any of you have a pretty strong geophysics background and are interested in one of the less furtive functions, I can supply you with a few references but you'll have to have access to a university library to get copies. It's moderately thick going, though, if you don't have at least a comm theory EE or geophysics degree.

Can't understand how you could put up this.
I guess this is either a US or UK homepage and therefore I would not venture into describing my plans to "do something about" this apocalypse-machinery. It turns my stomach. I've been carefully monitoring this issue for the last 3 years now and all I see is how they keep building it, slowly making it stronger and deadlier. I am afraid. Of course the NWO and everything scares and worries me but that is far out of my reach anyway... But this HAARP muthaf#cka is something that threathens me more than an arsenal of nukes. At least the nukes will make the process short, this machine can do whatever.
Been reading the book "HAARP; The Ultimate Weapon of the Conspiracy" by Jerry E. Smith. I recommend ALL of you to read this book, or "Angels Don't Play this HAARP" by Nick Begich and Jeane Manning.

We have to act now! Not soon or later, we have to put our foot down! This apparatus has no solid reason for exsisting rather than as a WMD. Just the vast possibilities for this weapon is horriffic! The mind-control part is the one that scares me the most. No place to hide, no way of protection. And keeping in mind that these are the same people who granted the MK-Ultra and MK-delta projects, the development of the A-bomb and H-bomb and lots of other nasty stuff gives me absolutetly no comfort.

I doubt all the people in congress and house of representatives knows about this. If, they would not let this happen (if peace is what they want that is...). I dobut even Bush Jr. is allowed to know the full extent of this "destroyer of worlds".

It sickens me. It is so out there in the plain open. Untouchable still undenied. And yes, those scientist are turely oozing with evil. They know what they are capable of. They are just waiting for the right moment to unleash this and they are hoping it will come soon.

Global warming is a result of using too much fossile fuel, this I am sure of. But the effects of global warming is very similar to what HAARP could do. Maybe they sneak in an extra typhoon every now and then just because no one would notice... Just a thought.

Can't keep my lid on, the HAARP-issue always makes me enraged. I feel like a supressed slave having to beg for my life...and that is just the way "they" want me to feel; helpless and afraid. HAARP scares me more than all the terrorists of the world combined. It's just utterly disgusting this is happening in our time. It predicts a dark future. I will not rest until this site (and all the rest of them) is wiped from the face of the earth with all the blueprints burned... And there is a substaion i Norway...damn those Norwegians! Always up to no good...

Yeah, that is Martin Sheen alright. It says so on the VHS-cover.

Anyone know anything about security around this site? Like Area-51 or what? Any Alsakans out there ready to do some recon?

Doesn't appear to be much security on the webcam.

You might also look out for job openings at HAARP's sister facility HIPAS - might be a way of infiltrating the system?
