I think one thing hiphop should stay out of is spirituality and religion.

You don't need to rhyme to let people know how you think.

peace.

If hip hop has to stay out of religion.

I DEMAND there are no country songs about religion.

I'm checking them out now, and as a sort of musical exchange, if you havent heard about them, check out Corporate Avenger. Though be warned, some of their songs can come across as offensive, but worth a listen.

The best way I can describe them is the musical style of Kottonmouth Kings with a political stance similar to how RATM was.

its good but, its not really my thing. i love hip hop, and its even better if it says something. i like stuff with more of a political feel. spirituality and religion dosent really do anything for me as i have already made up my mind about it. as long as were on the topic of hip hop, you should check out sage francis- makeshift patriot. its a great song and deals with 9-11. not the same as what you posted but good in its own.

Actually they talk about alot of Illuminati type stuff which is political.

Most Religions were created by "Mystery Schools" and "Secret Societies" by Scientists and Metaphysicians. They only give the Exoteric explainations to the masses and the Esoteric meanings are given to initiates.

Even if you don't care for the Exoteric meanings because they seem spooky or unrealistic, it would help you if you strive to understand the underlying scientifical meanings, or; the 'Esoterum'.

I've heard part of that Sage Francis song at a record shop. I'll have to peep it. Does it talk about the conspiracy involved in "9-11".

I believe music is important to all those who wish to express themselves other than using plain speech

Ok, I've returned as I said I would.

I like the 'star wars' track and 'the rising force'. I'm not feeling the way 'distant traveller' was delivered. The content seems good....It certainly is different. Thanks for sharing this group with us.

Edit: Music is important in many different ways.

I know of some christian contemporary hip/hop rap artists... Though it goes against what rap is all about.. that mainly being boitchs, money, drugs, and gettin laid while drinking gin and juice.

That's why I said HIP HOP not rap. If
you're including Hip Hop and all rap in
your definition of "what rap is all about";
then you obviously know NOTHING about
the foundation of these arts and what
they were MEANT to be about.

Looks like the Jewish Zionist media's got
someone fooled . (It's also funny
that white supremacists accuse the white
Jewish media of promoting Hip Hop when
they are actually destroying it .)

Last night i seen a few scenes from the VIBE Awards, the 'showcase for hip-hop'...mostly because Tamahu was pushing the religious/esoterica aspect of Hip-Hop.
What i saw was 'same-old-same-old'...only in different 'packages/wrappers/appearances'...
You find the same GURUs...read P DIDDY etc (male, god, kings)
You see the same Hedonism, fems focusing attention on the fem 'majik cauldron'.
You see; the 'group' having prescedence over the 'individual', for all the followers (not the guru leaders)
You see the hierarchy, in correspondence with the streets of todays social order...
You see outlandish 'toonish garish displays of excessive afflunence...a 'devil-may-care' ATTITUDE of Squandering material wealth...and too much more than can be addressed in a simple reply- posting.

Yes, Tamahu...hip-hop is a religious/spiritual conspiracy-->> of ATTITUDE,
Ego, Dominance for the Select Few who are Worthy, subservience of all others that have yet to climb the neo-darwinian, social-economic heirarchy ladder....
...myself...i'll stay away from the fray, until such time, that a response from myself , is REquired.

Hip Hop is an interesting phenomena, but far from Unique
in your last counter post, the white jewish media cartel was mentioned as having 'it' wrong...
if you take the cecil b demille scene of the hebrews partying around the 'golden calf' when moses was away...
that was what hip hop looks like to me....

enjoy your journey
