What hidden agenda?

Membership on the CFR is a matter of public record. Cheney says that he didn't make a big stink of being a director while he was in Wyoming. He probably didn't make a big stink of having a lesbian daughter while in Wyoming either, that hardly means that CFR or Lesbians are evil, just because they wouldnt' be well received in Wyoming.

Yes but it being that can have corporate interests because members of that are also in other organizations that have a hidden hand in the government decisions.

so he could know what they want. and later down the road when he was in a position to do something about it he did.
