Just doing a bit of Googeling, as you do, and found this site.

NWO wiltshire

Initially the site seems harmless enough, but if you read between the lines it seems like a front.

For instance their logo is "NWO" !

They say " NWO members take part in organising and running events"
What are these mysterious "events" that members run, they dont tell you!!

In their events listings they seem to train with the army!! and at night!!
"Southern Nights and Army Championships"!!!

And they even indoctrinate in schools!!!
"Teachers or youth leaders are most welcome to approach NWO to help arrange suitable events or introductory sessions."

In fact the site refers to "running" quite a lot, but running what? They dont say!!

They have "special wooden control posts engraved with a code number and a code letter" Why do they need to have message posts covered in secret code??

I think this deserves further investigation!!

Its a Orienteering club, not some cunning New World Order group.

They do orienteering for fun, they teach children how to orienteer and the army do orienteering for practicing navigation skills.

The "special wooden control posts" as you put it would be orienteering posts which the individual or group would navigate to, the posts are simply check points.
