Found this very interesting blog created by a survivor of the July 7th 2005 bus bomb attacks in London.

He hit the ground veering sharply right along Tavistock Square. The crunch of shattered glass being pulverised by his shoes beat a sizzling metronome, his heart’s amplified pounding drowned out all else in those few seconds. He put as much distance between himself and the carnage, running 10, then 20 meters to the doorway and beyond, only decelerating when ahead he noticed a ‘POLICE - DO NOT CROSS’ cordon extending from railings on the corner of Tavistock Place across the road to the square itself.

‘What's goin’ on?’ He beseeched , skidding to an abrupt halt.
Behind the cordon stood a group of British Transport Police in florescent jackets.
Inside it walking towards him was a man dressed all in black pointing a video camera in his direction. Daniel’s eyes met the camera’s lens.
This resulted in the camera man veering violently away, swinging the focus of the camera towards the green...

It will be very interesting to read Daniel's full report.
