This is just sad, what a beautifull animal that is now more then likely gone. But atleast we have cheap China-Made furniture.China is such a sess-pool that it disgust's me,as a human race alot of us worship and fear God but in reality we think we are God.

We can blame China for having polluted the environment and having cheap labor sweat shop factories but over all it's the United States that is really behind it all, what a great country we live in.

You'd think that this species would've been a good candidate for cloning technology to keep alive. Collect some stem cells from the last ones, maybe even harvest all the eggs from one female, then store them to grow them in other river dolphins once the pollution issue on that river is cleared up.

?
The US has nothing to do with the extinction of that species. It was entirely up to the chinese. It lives in their river, which they've polluted, because of their industries.

Yes techically they polluted it,but more then likely most of the large industries in China have strong tie's to many USA companie's that don't care how they make or export the product's as long as they get to Walmart and the Dollar store in a timely fashion. The fact that most of Chinese export's end up on USA stores definately feed's the pollution.

And cloning isn't the point you can't just clone that species and throw it in a river, there is a reason why river Dolphin's are rare. They need the right habitat to thrive in.So what youre saying is that if we clone them then it's ok to KILL animal's and make them suffer just so you can have low quality China made crap.

It may be my opionion but life is more important then anything,to kill something to the point that it ceases to exist is not right.

In order, the largest foreign investors in China are Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, with the U.S. 4th. Japan is is a close 5th -- close enough that the fluctuating value of the dollar could make Japan 4th and the U.S 5th.
