I'm not sure if I'll have the time to get something in or not but on the offchance I do can someone tell me how you make a link to a word?

I've only ever put URL's in posts before.

Update I'm having real problems with this, is there another way I wrote the story out on my pc and trying to copy and past it is a nightmare getting the links in unless I do it in bite size chunks as any link automatically goes to the very end of the whole text not the part you want it too, then I keep losing chunks of it while trying to add other bits. I don't think I can do it this way as I've been trying for an hour and am ready to throw the whole pc out of the window. How can you insert the link into the exact part of the text you want it in. Trouble is I've got so many links in the story unless I go back and pair them down I dont know what else to do.

Left click and drag mouse over the url at the bottom of the post, producing a blue bar over the link

Right click on the blue link

A box appears... click 'save'

scroll to the place where you want the link to go and left click on that space

Right click and the box re-appears

Click 'paste' and the link appears where you want it.

Now scroll back down to the bottom and delete the original link.

The best way to set things up is to do everything in Notepad.

Click on 'start'
Click on 'accessories'
Click on 'Notepad'

When you want to post what you've written, transfer everything over to the ATS 'post Reply' by using the same 'copy/paste' method as described above. BB Code transfers nicely from notepad to ATS, so you can bold, underline, italics, etc.

I just posted my short story. I notice everyone's story has a green icon before their story and mine doesn't. Did I submit the story wrong or do I need to hit the copywright button? I included (WHNWC) before the title. I just want to make sure I submitted my story properly. Is there a Moderator available for support?

I'm waiting until after the contest before commenting on the entries, but I am impressed with the submissions so far.

There are exactly 2 weeks left before the contest ends.

Everyone gets to submit 3 seperate stories, if so inclined.

Everyone gets writer status, if they do not already have it.

Don't forget to put that link into your story, and if you haven't, U2U me that link and I'll install it for you if need be.
