Well, this is kind of personal for me only because Green Lantern was one of the first comics I ever read as a kid and to this day continues to be one of my favorite comic book heros of all time.

Matin Nodell the creator of the original green lantern (alan Scott) has passed away at 91 (not too shabby).

www.cnn.com...

R.I.P. Martin and thanks for creating one of the best comics of all time.

IMO or course.

It is sad news to hear a legend die. He passed away last Saturday

He also had a hand in creating the Pillsbury Doughboy. Much of his life was in advertising as well as comics.
I wish his family and friends the best at this difficult time.

Thanks for the link Umbrax.

I was pretty suprised when I read the thing about the pilsbury doughboy...I think we all have fond childhood memories of the pilsbury doughboy.

Now the pilsbury dough boy as green lantern...that'd be something.
