Has the moving rocks of death valley ever been solved? Does any members live there and why can't they put cameras up that we can view from the net? The rocks move no doubt about that, but how?

To my knowledge it is supposed to do with a compound in the earth around that area. When it get's wet (which I'm guessing is going to be pretty rare, being a desert type enviroment), it becomes slippery. Mix that with high-speed winds, and there you have it, sliding rocks. Seems completlety crazy but that's what the boffins reckon happens.
