I found this gem on Edmunds.com quite a while ago..Maybe 2 years or so.
It's a great story of a guy who goes "undercover" as a car saleman.
used cars, new cars, and also a No-haggle (Saturn) Salesman.

Work your way through this.It's a great story, and a good education.

It's really a great inside look at the industry.
I've seen many of the techniques used, when I've been poking around on the car lots.

The 4 squares on a piece of paper thing seems to be very popular.
My wife and I have agreed to laugh, one of us pulls out a fiver, and hands it to the other, when that happens. We spend a lot of time looking before we buy, sometimes a year or more..It pays to know this insider stuff.

Great article, very enjoyable reading. Good advice for newbies and veteran car buyers.
