Quite a picture indeed. Why they don't do this more often I don't know,but this was absolutely beautiful!!

Yeah, I figured many of you would appreciate the simple beauty of it.. It's really amazing how beautiful something as simple as a space rocket lighting up the sky can be.. It really is.

Looking at that pic makes me think 'the future is now'. Its just amazing. Can't wait for what lies ahead for technology.

I try to watch every shuttle launch because I'm just amazed at the beauty of each one.

There's something about the power behind these machines that always gives me a chill when I see them reach for the stars. Thanks for posting the pic, that was one of the few launches I've missed since the start of the shuttle program.

I hope I find the time to go watch a shuttle launch before it is to late. It must be an awesome experience to see and feel the ground rumble on launch.

I watched the night launch on HDNET...watching the shuttle take off in High Def is second only to being there.
