ANAHEIM, CA., Aug 2 (UPI) -- The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is putting up $1 million to see if robotics experts can create a machine capable of traveling from Los Angeles to Las Vegas without human intervention, agency officials said Friday (8/2/2002). They have finally published their rules. The event will take place March 13, 2004.

I'd like to see Honda get in on this, they have a pretty good grasp of robotics. Are foreign companies allowed in on this thing?
