American Civil War (no I'm not John Titor)

Okay, John Titor predicted that eventually the government would become tyrannical and then the citizens would rebel and attack and so on.

Well I don't believe in John Titor, but I think there will be a civil war.

Considering the amount of arguing that has been going on between the Democrats and the Republicans, do you think in the near future (up to 10 years) it could ever get violent?

I agree that there 'could' be an american civil war, but it depends on other factors.

Such as not any other country getting involved.

Americans have proven again and again, that they bicker and sling amungst themselves, when left to their own devices.

But ANY other country tries to butt in..

And look out...differences set aside !

It's possible. The powers that be or Illuminati or whatever have seemingly tried to make it a race war. I believe it will be a "class war" or a "peace/war war".

It could be a class war, however I envision it as something more like a band of seperatists who want away from whatever regime happens to be in office when it happens. I think it all depends on how much more of the peoples' freedoms are restricted or taken away. I don't think it will boil down to democrats vs. republicans, that's what debating is for. I think it's going to be people who believe in freedom vs. the government. Remember, no matter who you vote for, the government wins.

If another American civil war does occur, which I really, really don't thnk will happen, I believe it will most likely be between liberals and conservatives. Things have gotten to the point where I don't think the two groups can co-exist for much longer and things might end up being settled with violence.

If any conflict does occur I'm sure it won't be nationwide and limited to specific areas. The government will likely put down the fighting anyway. If one thing is a constant in history, it's the government.

It will happen and the cause will be the same as the first civil war between the states, and its not to far off, that is dependent on the freedom sucking laws that are
constantly being shoved down our throats!

I have had dreams about this civil war. I don't really think it will be repub vs dem, but Citizen vs Govt. The military men and women will be forced to choose sides.

I have had three separate dreams about the coming civil war, and believe it will occur in less than ten years (5 - 8 years if memory serves correctly). It will not last long however, as other countries will see it as a weakness and attack us, then we will all be fighting for one cause.

i've had dream...under normal circumstances you wont catch me mentioning personal things on the board, but this is simply freaking me out.
im walking into my old school, glass crunching under my boots' i enter the cloakroom, i see moonlight.
im holding something in my arms..a weapon of some sort, alone, i'm about to call out when i suddenly catch a glimpse of the red stuff splattered over the walls...bodies' all over, then... i wake up.

i've had this dream for the 5th night in a row, looks like it's serious
if reality can be depicted from presisting dreams....then only time can tell when this occurs, and, looks like it wont be the U.S alone fighting a war after all...(im not american, ukranian.)

wow dude, you just make me remember a dream i had when i was like an 8th grader, it was so freaky i wrote i down when i woke up.
Heres what i wrote:

"Last night i had some crazy dream. I was at what looked like a school, hallways, lockers, but there was a big difference. I seemed older, in my 20's. And the school looked like it had been bombed, debris everywhere, it was weird. I had a gun, can say what kind. And i think it was fall/winter, because it was cold out, and there were no leaves on the trees."

then i drew a diagram of what the school looked like.

"I dont remember what i was doing there, but i remember being scared, and angry."

Then i wrote some personal comments and thats it. It's really strange that i havent forgotten that.

Now, in present time, i feel that may be a civil war scenario. I am glad that i have stuff prepared incase anything happens, and i am thankful for all i learned in Boy Scouts, (Wilderness Survial, plants, knots, all that crap i thought was kinda pointless) I hope it pays off if it ever needed.

The next cival war in America. Hmm. I think if you're looking for only two sides in this one, you may be suprised. The trigger for it? When the people dependant on entitlement programs eventually surpass those who produce, the entire system of confiscation and redistribution will break down. Towns, neighborhoods, city block who are demographically equal will form factions to either defend their possessions or take from others. We're going to see a time when basic services breakdown that some have relied on for survival and not knowing how to provide for themselves, their only option is going to be taking from others who do. Anytime you have a portion of a society which refuses to contribute and only consume and leech from the one's that do produce, that portion will eventually grow to outnumber the producers and the whole system comes crashing down.

Do yourselves a favor, find an alternate source for water. Water is the key and clean water will be the most sought after possession of them all. If you can't get a natural source for fresh water, maybe invest in a purifyer. I know they may cost a little more but in the long run, if ya have to pass on Britney Spear's new CD to afford one, I think you're gonna be to the good.

Yes, the United States is the shining beacon of hope and freedom stopping the evil commies from taking over the world. Do you even realize that socialists and facists are on opposite ends of the political spectrum? Just throw out words, regardless of the meaning, hoping for some mindless hurrah's from the other two-sentence warriors *coughrussiancough* on this board.

Gawd. It's such beliefs that I think will accelerate this upcoming....conflict. People will tire of this government and the sheep that follow them. Something will break sooner than you think.
