Hey, I wonder what people should talk about here in the new Automotive Forum?

Well, will wonders never cease!

Thank you, SO.

Who said prayers were never answered?

I must pass the word!

OK, lets just get one thing straight. I've met many people who think that the four strokes of an engine go:

Intake, compression, ignition, exhaust....

That is wrong. Ignition is an event that occurs, It is not a stroke of the cycle.

The proper sequence is:

Intake, compression, power, exhaust.

Now lets get this forum up to speed

Great! Now I just have to get a car.

Who came up with the mouse-over tip "Learn how to flip your whip and crank your PSI" ??

Oh, the potential threads:

I'm channeling my Buick!

Toyota abducted and probed, is this covered by the warranty?

How do I stop my Saab from spying on me?

Congratulations, GradyPhilpott

It goes to show what dedication can produce.

Now, I'm trying to figure out the singer and title of this classic old song...

I only know some of the words, so bear with me

Riding along in my automobile
My baby beside me at the wheel
Stole a kiss at the turn of a mile
My curiousity running wild
Can't you imagine the way I felt
When I couldn't unfasten her safety belt

Was that Chuck Berry?

Well, first, congrats to Grady on getting his Christmas present a couple weeks early.

Second... Are you trying to tell me that someone with the username "Mechanic32" doesn't have a car??? I had you pegged as a Tim Allen type from Home Improvement, always tinkering with vehicles.

Congrats Grady and everyone who worked on getting this done!

I'll probably lurk, but until a subway train is considered an automobile I probably won't have much to add

Hey DJ, there's always spectator sports.

I'm no gearhead, myself.

I had to change a flat yesterday and it took me 5 minutes to figure out how to get the jack out of its cubby hole.
