Rampage,
If indeed what you're saying is true, do you not think you're taking a big risk coming forward with this secret information on a public forum
board, i assume they will be watching you, what steps are you taking to protect your identity?
be safe;
Order Out of Chaos is absolutely correct.
This is a VERY serious issue. "Protecting Your Identity".
I understand the excitement behind many of the comments of other forum members. I understand that sometimes it feels as if standing up for "what is
right", and "telling the truth" is grounds to take any chance, face any danger.
Truth is, it isn't.
Before you take more chances, even if they seem safe. Even if you seem innocent. Even if you feel empowered. The real way that situations like this
conclude, is rarely in the interest of an individual "telling the truth". In fact, when the hammer does come down, it usually does more than just
take a person's job.
If you are going to become a "Whistleblower", you had better have a flawless plan, strong friends, excellent evidence and no family to watch
dissolve.
If I put me real name on here for you all to Google, within 20 minutes you people would know everything about my situation and experience. And,
within 30 minutes, the painful truth would be obvious. After seeing what happened to me...
If you are going to be the "Stand Up Guy", it is going to hurt like hell!
I lost my career, my family, my future and had the law set on me like attack dogs!
And, the situation I blew the whistle on was a lot less important than the O'Hare deal.
When you take on "Big Business" or the US Gov, it ain't like a movie. There is no cool music playing in the background. No real protection from
what they can do. No happy ending.
Trust me, there is no happy ending. But, it would make me smile to see somebody win one.
Be careful.
