I almost think I'm the only one here.

No members list at the bottom of the PTS main page. (how I finally was able to log in)

No Hot Topics, or Recent discussions.

Kind of scary.

Not ripping any one at ATS at all, far from it, but to have such a massive problem so soon after their awesome revamp is neither funny or fair..




Hope SO can get it fixed soon and then we can !

We have a significant failure of our primary server dedicated to serving the ATS site.

We've not been able to afford a load-balanced cluster with failsafe roll-over, so this is why we remain down at this point.

I'll provide more updates as we have them.

I can't figure out where the rest of the thread is.

I almost thought I made a new thread by accident, but that is not the case.

I have got to say, with out ATS, my internet browsing has dropped off to almost nil, due to the fact that the nets a boring place these days .... bar ats and my net games..

And a big thank you to Skeptic for taking the time out of what must be a very hectic (and aggravating day) to keep us ATS junkies updated!!

Suffice to say, that the rest of the layout overhaul will most likely take a while longer; since this problem seems to be an order of magnitude more important.

So I was finally able to log in. The standard login page is acting funny, so I thought I was stuck until this issue was fixed. For anyone reading this and uable to log in, try to subscribe this thread to your favorites, and it will direct you to another login page that works.

That was scary for a while.

The way I did it was I logged onto PTS. And from the PTS main page went to "B. B. & Q.", then to this thread.

Trying to access it from MyATS in PTS or BTS don't seem to work, as I think it is redirected to the ATS main server. Or so it seems.

It appears S.O. will keep us informed on this thread.

So sorry, SO! We will wait patiently for the rebirth...

When I couldn't get on ATS, I thought maybe the PTB were tired of hearing complaints about the new setup. I thought maybe they made a 'sandbox' by taking the thing off line. But alas... hardware problems are much more serious.

Sounds like the frammis has disengaged from the canuter valve. Try giving the coil a good whack and see if it restarts.

Lemmee know if you need any help. I can borrow some tools.

I ]think IG and BTS are on the same servers though, so if one went down, then the other would. But IG is a great place for when ATS is quiet.

Makes me wonder if all the new eye candy is overloading the server.

I thought bandwidth was the problem and reasoning behind the last redesign towards the minimalist scheme???
