This looks pretty wicked.
A sperical screen with the surface of a planet projected onto it.
So far, only one film has been made to take advantage of this new medium.

Take a look.

Global Screen

They also mentioned value in the Monitoring of Storms, and other atmospheric behaviors. It will probably take a while, but I bet we'll discover many uses for this kind of projection technology.

Yea they got those in universal orlando here in florida they are pretty cool the ones down here show some universal shows and other garbage.

Na I was at the haloween horror nights they were playing shreck. No matter where you looked it was like looking directly at the screen pretty cool stuff. they had 3 big orbs in the middle of a lake.

course then I got drunk and tried to pick up one of the stilt walking alien chicks but thats annother story.

The tech for the globe has been around since the 80's though, orriginally it was used to show a full hologram of a talking head in the Musical 'TIME'

Time was shown in London's west end back in 1986


The globe you show is an advanced version, with hi-res images


It is still very very cool

Something that will revolutionize communications across the globe..
It's called a Telegraff, or something like that, I'll have more details later..LOL

Now this whole HD Holo Video game idea..When do we start, and who brings the beer?
