Mars - A very 'alien' world

With the upcoming announcement from Nasa regarding the MGS and Mars, I thought I would post a link off the Nasa site. It's a gallery of some truly amazing, wonderful and 'weird' formations on mars taken from the rovers and satellites.

Some of these structures are really strange, and can almost be mistaken as 'non-natural'. If this is what we can find on one planet, imagine the possibilities out there!

Now before any of you jump the gun and start going on about green forest and blue skies etc, I'd like to inform you that most of these images are false colored. Meaning that Nasa has intentionally altered the colors to improve the visual quality.

Wow, it really does have the dark matter interface! Could I have stumbled upon the source for the idea of ATS's new design? Its even got the shiny reflective surface!
