Let me take a guess, it was UV light generated by an object.

That would explain why it wasn't visible to the humans' eye. Sounds similar to the so-called "lightbeam" coming out of Mels Hole. Funny how Mel said the light was black, I just wondered to myself, how can u see a black beam of light? I then thought, what if this was some type of gravity manipulation caused by some earth anomoly, causing the light to be distorted in some way. Who knows huh..

I wonder if u went to the exact location, and photographed that spot, would the same anomoly appear again? I really want to get a UV camera, to film stuff like this, as well to see if I can pick up some UFOs, but they're $10,000 bucks for a cheap one lol..

The UV would excite atoms in nearby molecules and also in the camera.

Hard to tell what other electrons or wave lengths would cause the photograph
to show what it did.

Here is an example: the fluorescent lamp has a dull glow because its mostly
UV, but the UV hits the coating on the inside of the bulb that lights up do
to a similar electron jumping orbits like in a laser beam.

People thought the atmosphere would explode if the A bomb were set off due
to UV radiation, but it didn't happen. And here we are.

Ed:
Black or nearly black would be purple or dark violet light given off by ionized
molecules whch would take a strong electric or perhaps magnetic field
Black and light disk halfs can be visible on the ufo at times and may just
mean electrons are going in different directions.
