Seize the Day by Avenged Sevenfold.

The song by itself just has a sad aura to it, but the
music video really shows why it's sad.

It is the saddest song I've ever listened to.

Far Away

by Nicleback

On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know,

That was the first song that ever made me cry.

The saddist songs to me personally remind me of someone in my life who has died.

"Because You Loved Me" By Celine Dion. Now I can't stand her normally but this song is sad when it makes you think of someone who isn't around anymore (like my grandma)

And just last Thursday, my boyfriends mom whom we live with died and the night she died I heard the song "Silent Night" coming from a Christmas clock she had bought that was in her room. So I will probably cry when I hear that song too.

Other than that...

"Lightening Crashes" by Live
"The Blood is Love" by Qotsa
"Already Died" by Eagles of Death Metal
"Blasphemous Rumors" by Depeche Mode
"Blue Monday" by Blue Order
"Tuesdays Gone" by Lynnard Skynnard
"I don't want to talk about it" by Rod Stewart

For The Good Times Lyrics

Don't look so sad I know it's over
But life goes on and this old world will keep on turning
Let's just be glad we had some time to spend together
There's no need to watch the bridges that were burning
Lay your head upon my pillow hold your warm and tender body close to mine
Hear the whisper of the raindrops blowing soft against the window
And make believe you love me one more time for the good times

I'll get along you'll find another
And I'll be here if you should find you ever need me
Don't say a word about tomorrow or forever
There'll be time enough for sadness when you leave me
Lay your head upon my pillow...

A classic by the unforgettable Ray Price..

Here is a nother one by George Strait

BABY BLUE
By. George Strait

She looked so much like a lady
But she was so much like a child
A devil when she held me close
An angel when she smiled
She always held it deep inside
But somehow I always knew
Shed go away when the grass turned green
And the sky turned baby blue

Chorus:
Baby blue
Was the color of her eyes
Baby blue
Like the colorado skies
Like a breath of spring she came and left
And I still dont know why
So, heres to you and whoever
Holds my baby blue tonight

She brought color to my life
That my eyes have never touched
When she taught me how to care
Ive never cared so much
I try not to think of her
But I fall asleep and do
And go away where the grass turns green
And the sky is baby blue

i couldn't believe myself going crazy over some oldies.. but this song certainly struck deep into my heart.. its like i could see myself in old age sitting alone.. listening to this song.. got teary eyed while looking back in life.. oh my.. that is so sad..

Roy Clark - Yesterday, when I was young 493kb right click n save target as..

Yesterday, when I was young,
The taste of life was sweet, as rain upon my tongue,
I teased at life, as if it were a foolish game,
The way the evening breeze may tease a candle flame

The thousand dreams I dreamed, the splendid things I planned,
I always built, alas, on weak and shifting sand,
I lived by night, and shunned the naked light of day,
And only now, I see, how the years ran away

Yesterday, when I was young,
So many happy songs were waiting to be sung,
So many wild pleasures lay in store for me,
And so much pain, my dazzled eyes refused to see

I ran so fast that time, and youth at last ran out,
I never stopped to think, what life, was all about,
And every conversation, I can now recall,
Concerned itself with me, and nothing else at all

Yesterday, the moon was blue,
And every crazy day, brought something new to do,
I used my magic age, as if it were a wand,
And never saw the worst, and the emptiness beyond

The game of love I played, with arrogance and pride,
And every flame I lit, too quickly, quickly died,
The friends I made, all seemed somehow to drift away,
And only I am left, on stage to end the play

There are so many songs in me, that won't be sung,
I feel the bitter taste, of tears upon my tongue,
The time has come for me to pay,
For yesterday, when I was young

I finally remembered what his last name is!! David Kirsh... The first time I ever heard it announced on the radio the announcer said, "Up next "Good Night Sweetheart" by David Kirsh." I thought he said David Koresh.
:shk:
