I have joined in twice, I think, but I have noticed that nearly every day you post in the what are you wearing thread, and mostly what I see is a lot of grey and black, and I was wondering why to both.

I wear alot of grey and black because black is one of my favorite colors.

As to why I post in it, well I made the thread for that reason, and I'm

No, I use to be, and I do stilll get really depressed sometimes,
but I am have not been suicidal in over a year.

I have a Body Mech. class that I take at school everyday, which is
alot of working out, and I do some stuff when I get bored, like hold
my body up wiht my arms.

Rather than discussing this in a new thread, I'll discuss it with a member whom I have a tremendous amount of respect for.

You have labeled yourself an Atheist. Myself, I've never really known.

I've recently considered myself an Agnostic. I just don't know.

What do I consider religion to be? A form of social control. People abide by a higher set of laws to prevent chaos. I tend to be spiritual from time to time. When my step-father passed away, I became very spiritual. I was in search of meaning, a point to life, anything to give me a reason of why we are here. As time passed, my spirituality faded.

Now I am left on the fence.

So, I ask you Iori, Why you are so certain that there is no god?

Not to judge, or to hijack, but I am really interested in your thoughts here. I'm confused with myself on this subject. I'm interested in your reasoning to why your not confused.

Well the reason I am certain there is no god is three fold.
1. It goes against scientific logic and rationale.
2. I recognize that the entire idea of deities was originally created
to explain why things happened, like why lightning struck and where
it came from.
And over time the idea was capitalized by people who wanted power,
or wanted everyone to act how they thought people should.
3. I just have a feeling tht no such thing exists, though I don't doubt
powerful beings that would seem like gods to us exist, but I feel that
they are natural, and were once like us, anyways I just don't feel that
one exists at my core.

I think it depends on how many yes votes you get, and after
a ceretain amount are reached, it stops being a submission.

I'm not sure really, I've only ever submitted one article to ATSNN.
