Another Christmas question for you. I know you're single and young but maybe you can give me a different perspective on this.

My mother-in-law does'nt like me. My husband is her "baby" and always will be. She gets me kinda mean, tacky gifts for Christmas and my husband expensive nice things for Chrismas.

One example is that she gave me a "dishrag" one Christmas. Yep, just one. I was kinda confused about it but did'nt say anything.

Since then she's gotten me stuff like that every year. It kinda hurts my feelings, because I always get her nice things and I'm always polite to her.

Still she refuses to thaw towards me.

Should I keep ignoreing this? Or should I attempt to get her something really tacky or "mean" like she does me?

Maybe I should'nt even open her gifts and throw them in the closet? But I can't resist opening a wrapped box!

My sugestion for you is to keep giving her nice gifts for the next ten
years, she may eventually over that time warm-up to you.

After that though, well there are some people that just are'nt
agreeable.
