NOTHING is going to be implanted anywhere on my body. When it comes to people getting "chipped" I think you're talking a whole new ballgame of riots and protests and "civil disobedience".
People might put up with cards and stuff "on plastic" but when it come's to what amounts to a violation of their physical bodies I think you'd see some hostile action from the people towards the government.
Especially if chipping is "required".
I hope I'm not the only who feels this way.

Nobody's gonna do a damn thing about it. We people say we will do something about it, but when it comes time to do something we're always to busy. Most of us can't afford to miss work and go protest like they did in the 70's. The government likes it that way too! They pass bill after bill up on capital hill for who? Not for us. They keep passing all these bills to make themselves more powerful and us " the people " less powerful. We the people only vote to nominate a person for that position, but do we vote on anything else? I hope I'm wrong here, but my gutt instinct tells me that we hardly have the say so for anything. Did we vote to go to war or did they? You all know that those valuecards that we get from the grocery stores, hardware stores, and all the rest of them are one way to track where we've been. Everything and anything the government ask us to do we do it without question. Just like back in the draft days of war. The only way you got out of that was to move to another country, shoot yourself, or get shot and put in prison if you went awall. Sorry to rant about this but so many people say they will do, but when if comes to freedom most people don't want it.

most recently they have devised the patriot act which basically says if you are a terrorist, you have no rights, don't have to be given a lawyer and can be held indefinitiely without being charged. Now as long as we are 'detainging' foreign born muslims at Gitmo with this law nobody cares and the govnerment is just 'protecting us'.
Now they have the new law that says you will, like it or not, get this new chip ID card or you won't travel, drive, have a job or bank. Next they get rid of all paper and coin money and go to total electronic banking. This will be enough to get most people that are leaning toward a revolt to roll over, because they will have no means to eat or have a roof over their heads legally.
Why do we not try and stop it?

There was a similar hue and cry from many Christians when Roosevelt began issuing Social Security Numbers during the new deal. Then twenty years ago, when the IRS required children to have SSNs in order to be eligible as a deduction, there was another outcry.
Scientists have trained rats to respond to signals from a laptop-based
command center up to 500 yards away, enabling a human operator to remotely guide
the robo-rats through an obstacle course. Intelligent, nimble, and inexpensive,
such guided animals could be used for spying or on dangerous search-and-rescue missions.
While robots need to be precisely programmed to correctly complete even the
simplest task, he noted, rats are naturally capable of performing many
actions that would be required of, for example, search-and-rescue machines.
"You give [rats] a command, and they have their own sort of native intelligence
to carry it out," Talwar said.
The brain-in-a-dish was DeMarse' idea. To produce it, 25,000 rat neurones were
suspended in a specialised liquid to keep them alive and then laid across a grid
of 60 electrodes in a small glass dish.
