meteorites

ok i'm looking for a little help here from my A.T.S brothers and sisters...
i've been looking for a meteorite engagment ring...but so far i'm not impressed
would anyone happen to know a meteorite that is beautiful when cut and polished?

You might wanna try Moldavite Gemstones but they are often dark and more masculine.

Personally I like cut and polished iron meteorites myself, they have a cool look to them.

Its going to be a hit and miss kind of thing of what is available at any given time, and when you find something pretty, your going to pay a lot for it…

If you’re looking for something that looks like a gemstone, the closest I think you’re going to find is a highly polished Metallic Meteor, and that is not going to have any transparency to it.

There is also tektites but they are a type of glass.

Usually meteorites are made up of ores. You generally don't hear about too many comprised of precious stones, maybe precious metals.

This site had some nice stuff. There are 2 pages of rings. I guess you just need to pick the stones to set into it. Nice looking designs if you ask me.
