The attacks of 9/11 were so unthinkable that most Americans would refuse to believe the complicity of their own government, even if presented with a mountain of evidence.
Very simply, it is possible to escape blame if you do something that nobody in the world believes you could do.

I thought this was worth discussing as I agree totally with that statement. History shows us that it is true. You only have to look at Nazi Germany for proof of that. Germans refused to believe the atrocities committed by their government right under their noses until they were forced to accept it by the allies.

You can tell from reading many posts here on 9-11 that people will totally ignore obvious evidence of a cover up, no matter what facts are presented.
For some people, it's just too much to believe the government they've grown up trusting would ever do anything so atrocious to it's own citizens. I ask you to look at history and you'll see that governments can't be trusted, shouldn't be trusted, and are not above killing it's own to push their agendas.

The top people in gubernment don't care one bit about average joe, they come from the elite who see themselves as being above the rest of us. It's not much different from the days of the land owners and serfs, they've just modernized their methods of control. They learned from past mistakes to do their dirty work in more subtle ways, to use psychological control as opposed to physical control on its population.

The point to be made is this: sometimes, the more outrageous an action, the easier it is to get away with. Sometimes, there is no way that people can connect the criminal with the crime: the very idea of guilt is so far out of the norm as to be unthinkable.
Very simply, it is possible to escape blame if you do something that nobody in the world believes you could do...

This why we get bogged down with irrelevant arguments like, how were the explosives planted etc. People refuse to see the whole picture and dismiss the evidence based on obscure or irrelivant points, that can't or don't need to be answered. They never complete the picture, but see every event as unconnected and separate from the whole.

Obviously the official story pedlars are going to disagree with this, which is to be expected of someone who is in denial.
