Oldest cat alive.

Wow, I just found a video of the oldest cat alive, looks like a normal cat, acts like one too. The current world record is 38 years, this cat is 36! Born in 1970, the cat's human (remember cats own us), has a picture with the date of June 1973. Enjoy!

Thats crazy, ive never seen a cat live past 15...and by that time they are well and truely worn out. This must have been an inside cat, they have been proven to live longer.

I knew a lady whose cat was 18 years old before it died. But 35 years? That is truly amazeing. How many would that be in human years?

My mom had a cat who lived to be 18+ (she actually found her when she was pregnant with me).

But yeah over 30 seems nuts.

I wish my dog could have lived that long, sadly mine passed away a few months back

The oldest cat I ever knew was 20.

My cats 14, and still acts young, though a little bit more sensitive
to pressure.


I beleive I remember reading somewhere that one human year
is the equivalent of five cat years, so that would make this cat
180 in cat years.

Cats can live into their mid 20s these days. One of my previous Cats lived to around 22. 30 is excessive though with Vet technology getting better and better, I believe we can expect quite a few techniques to apply to them critters to make them live longer.

The oldest cat I knew lived about 22-23 years. we foubd her when she was 1-2 years old, and had her for 21 years when she went like she came, quietly, in the night.
