Well I dont really know many family names going back too far, but if I did i dont know if i would post them. Guess I'm a bit paranoid.

However I do know that I'm related to the Revolutionary War general Horatio Gates and to Daniel Boone.

I'm not sure of all the names, but King David II of Scotland is one ancestor. My grandmother researched our familys ancestry. There's a few more famous/interesting names in there too, but forive me as I'm a little paranoid about all the names and details. lol

I'm sure there are many here who are a bit nervous about posting their family names in the open. Me included. I will say however, my family is a "Sharrif," meaning we are decended from Prophet Muhammad.
