Distant Origin - Reptillian's

Last night I caught an old Star Trek Voyager Episode called Distant Origin and it was basically about a reptillian Species encountered in the Delta Quadrant. This species closely resembled the Bipedal Reptillian we have seen floating around the net that look like a lizard walking on 2 feet and with a flat scaly face.

the interesting bit's were when they were found to have originated from earth from a common human ancestor and that they had left earth due a cataclysm 20+ million years ago and were far technologically superior to the Voyager crew and its high technology.

Check it out but it looks like either the story was pinched from David Icke or is one hell of a coincidence.
