Nancy Pelosi Doesn't Practice What She Preaches

The new Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is one person when preaching a good game, but quite another in her real life practices. For example, she portrays herself as a strong union supporter, and took campaign contributions from state and national unions.

Unions are, in her words, "fighting for America's working families" and battling "the union-busting, family-hurting" Bush administration. But Schweizer has uncovered that the $25 million Northern California vineyard the Pelosis own is a non-union shop!

Schweizer writes: "Welcome to Hypocrisy Central."

But Pelosi's hypocrisy doesn't stop there.

The congresswoman is the top recipient among members of Congress in campaign contributions from labor unions, and has received more money from the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union than any other member of Congress in the last several election cycles.

But in addition to the wine business, the Pelosis own a large stake in the exclusive Auberge du Soleil hotel in Rutherford, Calif.

The hotel has more than 250 employees, but once again, Schweizer found, it is strictly a non-union shop.

She also says that the environment is an "ethic" with her, but her actions prove otherwise, as the article shows.

She is well on her way to earning her nickname of "Bela Pelosi".

Pelosi is not only a flake, but she's CORRUPT as well. And she wanted to bring in MURTHA, one of the worst offenders in Washington DC. The really freaky thing is that she's only 2 heartbeats away from being POTUS.

Be afraid. Be very afraid!!

One thing will be interesting to see develop is the money relation between Murtha, KSA (Murtha’s brother’s lobbying firm), N. Pelosi and Laurence Pelosi (her nephew). Some of it is finally coming into the mainstream. Unfortunately not in any real detail as of yet.

Pelosi, she spoke of lobbying reform and “banning” House members from accepting gifts from lobbyists...she must have completely forgotten she voted against the “Lobbying Disclosure Act”….”Culture of corruption” and all that…

What is even more sickening is her hypocrisy. The FEC found two (2) PAC’s guilty of similar acts to what got Tom Delay ousted….both directly associated with N. Pelosi…very few noticed. But I am sure it will begin to come-out a little more in the open now...a few local radio talk show hosts are now talking about her 'activities'.
