We have just experienced quite a strong and lengthy earthquake here in Costa Rica. What I would like to know is, does anyone have a website address where I can find out the measurement on the rictor scale? I would be most grateful.

Click the Link and then click on any quake. There was a 5.1 in the ocean and a 4.6 in Nicaragua.

What time did you exactly feel it? Is your time zone Pacific Standard Time?

You must have felt the 5.1 off the coast of Nicaragua because that one was of a moderate size.

I don't remember what time is was. Whilst the earthquake was not overly strong -- it did last quite a while. Although I'm used to earthquakes -- I grew up in New Zealand.

A big thanks also for the web address.
