We don't have much time left. We need to work together to get off of this planet. We don't have time for your petty bickering and little bullshi* problems and disagreements.

WWIII Is coming because they WANT it and they think that the immense profits they will make will buy them a lot of land on the Moon and on Mars and on...

That picture of the planet is absolutely gorgeous. In my opinion, there are few things more beautiful than that.

I sense that something bad is going to happen to this planet. I don't know what and I don't know when, but I do know that time is of the essence.

On a more positive note.

We already hold the keys to the starship in our hands.

Once you understand what money and religion really are, the next logical step is to build the starship.

Whatever the mind can believe it can achieve.

I'm sorry, but I don't follow where your going with this.

You say that we need to work together to get off of the planet,
But where exactly do you have in mind? We have no idea where
else we can live In the universe, let alone the solar system. We
have people searching, but there is nothing we can do until they
find, and confirm that their is another hospitable terrain.

Anyway, let's say that there is another planet we can live on, and
have found it. Who are the 'we' in the 'we' need to work together?
It's not a feasible reality to 'evacuate' the planet. The only people who
would be allowed off would be those with alot of power or a high socio-
economic stance.

As you said, we don't have much time left. So why not spend the rest
of the time doing what the human race does best? Killing eachother.

I'm open to suggestions.

You know, I'm not the first person to say this, but we don't just inhabit the planet, we are the planet and the planet is us.

Space colonization might be in our future because we, like the dust, can escape the "surly bonds of earth," but it might just be that our existence elsewhere indefinitely is impossible and that might be the hardest pill in the pharmacopeia of human realities to swallow.

I had a revelation.

This is actually an excellent thread topic. It is pretty much fact in our day to day world of speculation that our Sun WILL be turning into a red giant, expanding well past our orbit and thereby ending all life on Earth. We will also be colliding with the Andromeda galaxy for the coup de grace. Your basic double, cosmic whammy....

Now, we are talking billions of years into the future but these are 100% undeniable facts that the human race will have to deal with if it makes it that far..!!

I am saying exactly this.

The earth will be destroyed and we need to leave. Anyone who believes that we do indeed hold the keys to the starship is welcome to go.

Yeah, I guess it was about time for another generic doomsaying thread... This should be in Dreams & Personal Predictions, not Space Exploration. Mods?

Thanks for the vote of confidence Razor.

I was just watching a short movie where Alex Jones is comparing 9/11 to Star Wars.

It's kinda humorous, you might enjoy it.

My thinking is that the key to starship to leave the earth is our own individual Mer Ka Ba.

Like we have to create a light body type of vehicle for our consciousness to merge into and travel.

What do you think???
