Is this the man to lead Republicans into the 2008 Presidential cycle?

Isn't this the man who didn't even utter the word "republican" throughout his race to a double-digit defeat?



"In a state like Maryland, there was an opportunity to move away from the labels and really try to dig beyond, you know, being a Republican or Democrat, red state or blue state," Steele said. "In fact, that's what people are sick of. I think we saw the results on Tuesday just how sick they are."

Actually I think the people aren't sick of labels at all... Its curruption, chronyism...

Ooops... Sorry! There I go again with those doggone labels.

Seriously though, does anyone think he has what it will take to carry the Republicans to any kind of recovery?
