Do any fellow ATSers have a "pet name" for the internet?

I call it:

"The miraculous pipes of knowledge and disinformation."
Quite a mouthful...

Anyone got a better name for the net?

My mate who's into Buddhism calls the net:

"Humanity's collective consciousness"

Northern folk in the UK don`t have the internet.
They have:
"tinternet"

Wasnt jack tompson the first to say that? I believe he said it first and he dissed a lot of people and I get afraid whenever he is in the news. Besides from that, I call the internet intrawebs, as in get off my intrawebs.
