SANTIAGO -- Alberto Urquiza, a renowned researcher and member of the GEO Group, a Chilean agency devoded to the study of various anomalous phenomena, presented three exclusive images to Terra.cl regarding the strange skeleton found in the city of Concepcin in Chile's 8th Region.

According to Urquiza, the group shall receive the specimen on Friday to submit it to a variety of analytical procedures at the hands of experts in order to ascertain its nature. The resarcher believes for the moment that they could be the remains of a "strange animal" although he refuses to put forth any hypotheses until the tests have been fully performed.

The persons who found the odd skeleton are determined to find an explanation for it -- the contrary of what has happened in other similar cases in the country. This, says Urquiza, will allow "the tests and the diffusion of the find to be nearly simultaneous, thus favoring transparency and accountability in the reporting process."

The skeleton presents no upper extremities and as can be seen in the images, shows taloned legs.

These remains can be added to the ones already found in Iquique, presented less than a month ago, and also in Concepcin (the so-called TOY case) approximately a year ago.

Hmmm.

It could be yet another case of several skeletons thrown together.

I'm fairly convinced it's a cat's skull

Yes, Zub.

I agree. I thought that skull looked familiar.
I've eaten many of those in my day.

I'm no dinosaur expert but if its a dinosaur skeleton it would be a fossil (minerals replace bone material). And that thing doesn't look like a fossil to me.

unless its a dinosaur that recently died.

I think it's a shadow of the one tail you are looking at.

By all means, this looks like a cat skull, and for the most part, the body looks about accurate too. I'm wondering if they found the body incomplete or if it was a birth defect to explain where the front legs are. Also, it seems pretty big to be without legs naturally. That raises other questions such as how did it survive to that size if it had no front paws. My theory is it is an incomplete cat skeleton.

The skull is feline, but the feet are plantigrade, probably a racoon or a coati mundi. 2 skeletons combined, IMO....

It's either a hoax or a freak of nature
