Nineteen years ago, the racing legend Mickey Thompson, and his wife were murdered. The accused is finally standing trial in LA this week.

Thompson and his wife are surprised in their driveway. The assassins force them both to their knees, Thompson pleads for his wife's life, but the assassins make Thompson watch as his wife is shot, 'execution style', in the head. Next, they shot him.

Mickey Thompson was a naive, and he entered into a business agreement with a swindler. The deal turned sour, and Thompson took the swindler to court and won $750,000. But, the guy was so enraged he had Thompson executed.
