Is something going on with the Web today?

The reason why I'm posting this thread is because I've notice that several websites have pretty much gone offline as of a few minutes ago. They range from my.yahoo.com to several of my livelink blogs. I can still access roughly half my links at full speed, yet the other half don't even load at all, and BBC doesn't even register. It just says the site doesn't exist. WTH is going on, I have not seen something like this in a while. Is this a Global problem or a Regional one? Anyone with similiar problem please post them(especially those who are on Bell Sympatico)
