Just heard on Fox that Generic Tylenol is being recalled- 11 million bottles

I'm very sick right now and have been taking it. They're claiming there's metal in them.

They're claiming real Tylenol is fine. Its just the generic. I'm not doing very well, and i'm very weak.
I'm not going to take it anymore, obviously.

Here's a link. Perrigo recalling 11 mln pain pill bottles - FDA.

NEW YORK, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Perrigo Co's (PRGO.O: Quote, Profile, Research) recall of over-the-counter acetaminophen caplets applies to 11 million bottles of the generic pain reliever, a Food and Drug Administration spokeswoman said on Thursday.

The company said earlier Thursday it was voluntarily recalling 383 batches after traces of metal were found in the product.

DG,
I love your picture. Grease is my favorite musical. Sorry to hear your sick.

Wonder how metal got in our medicines?
I think someone needs to start answering to all this contamation stuff!!
When is someone going to do something about all of this?

Well...when something is produced in a factory, there are a lot fo small, moveable parts in the machines made of metal...not that hard to see the possibilty.

Umm...is recalling all the defective medicines and eating the cost of this recall doing something? What do you want them to do? Recall the meds and give you a cookie, too?

As I've indicated before on this site, I think all things containing Tylenol/acetamenophin should be recalled.

The damned stuff is poison for your liver!!!!

Oh my God....Becky....look at those lawsuits....
Seriously, the company does the correct thing and recalls, and the left-wingers
start with the " I don't feel so good" rhetoric.
Please, spare us. Things happen. Companies do their best to alleviate the problems.
The LAST thing needed is people trying to get rich off someones inadvertent, and
admitted mistake.

My 2 cents,
Lex
