Bible Question! The Devil a shapeshifter?

Ok, How many of you guys think the Apostle Paul wasn’t who he claimed to be and that the devil was a shape shifter?


2 Corinthians 11:14 (New International Version)
14And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.


Exodus 4:3
3 The LORD said, "Throw it on the ground."
Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it.

That's not the best translation you quoted from. The KJV says:

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
~2 Corinthians 11:14

The word 'transformed' is also found here, as 'change':

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
~Philippians 3:20-21

If Christ is going to transform our 'vile' bodies, then the same is done for Satan, possibly.

All angels are probably 'shapeshifters.'

Well,firstly, I think the typical idealization of satan,i.e,his appearance, tends to be misconstrued. I don't think we are looking for some hideous horned beast here. What most people consider the devil to look like is just an archetype of the actual entity.

Being of spiritual nature, I doubt that anyone has seen what Satan actually looks like,only what their own consciousness projects.

Secondly, Satan probably does have the power to change shape. This is what gives him the power to project images rather than true being.

Satan(s) are adversaries! There is no ONE certain Satan!
