The music died when the music video came on the scene.

Well, said, darkelf. Even though I notice all of your unfavourites (except for Ice Ice Baby) are from the pre-video era. Still, the point is well made.

Bad music in the video era abounds. It is really unfair to choose any, kind of like engaging in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent. That is why most of my picks are pre-video era. Ice, Ice, Baby epitomizes everything thing that is wrong with the video era. Besides, it just plain sucks!

The Final Countdown- Europe
Stairway to Heaven- Led Zepplin
You're Beutiful- James Blunt (One of the worst songs of the decade so far)
When I Come Around- Green Day
I'm So Glad- Cream
Achy-Breaky-Heart- Billy Ray Cyrus
Sexyback- Justin Timberlake

Just a few that come across my mind right now. I'm also adding the entire album Inhuman Rampage by Dragonforce. One of the most lacking and bland albums ever.

This may be considered rock heresy:

"Delilah" (sp?) by Queen
"Flash" by Queen
"Bicycle" by Queen

Don't get me wrong, I like Queen, but these just aren't my cup o' tea

Blasphemy!

Anything by those Nu-Metal posers who can't even play guitar like Limp Bizkit and Slipknot.

Can't think of one song in particular, really. If I dislike something I just move along.

Watermelon Crawl by Tracy Byrd---There's nothing worse than seeing a bunch of drunken people shout "yeehaw, or woohoo" and start trying to dance to this...

My Humps by the Blackeyed Peas....Just vulgar.

Danceing on the Ceiling by Lionel Richie---just plain dorky.

Cocaine by Eric Clapton---I just hate it.

And I hate anything by the band Poison.

I also hate the song:

The Shake. I forgot the artist. So I did a search. I got Jon McElroy and Butch Carr in the search. Don't know if thats the right artists. But yeah I can't stand the song.

I agree with everyone who said "Your Beautiful" by James Blunt.
That song really bites.

"London Bridge" and "Fergalicious" By Fergie.
My seven year old can write more insightful lyrics. Oh yeah and just because our last name happens to be Ferguson, let's totally rip off Sarah Fersuson and even call ourselves "The Duchess"

The last one I am going to name most people actually like, but I am sorry i absolutly hate it....
"Tub thumping" by Chumbawumba. That song annoys me to death.

I am going to throw another singer out in front of the bus. That singer would just happen to be Shania Twain.
When she first came onto the scene, I knew it was going to be bad.

Ha, ha you got that right. Try looping that song she has called "I'm gonna getcha good" so it plays that line over and over...it's enough to drive anyone completely mad so they'd beg for mercy!
