The size constraints for avatars is:
160 pixels in width
320 pixels in height

The above image is WAY outside those constraints.

just sayin' ...

The current dimensions are:
380 width
232 height

[edit: to add]
Yes, your avatar is 160 in width.

I thought you were referring to that posted above

Plenty of entries with lots of time left.

Good luck to everyone and keep them coming.

If your looking for any sort of animation though, Semper is your man.

It would seem to me that those entering an image should be the ones that created the image....

Kinglizard,

You just ruined my supper. Do you know the effort i put in getting Chissler to make me an avatar, then posting to find the avatar contest thread, then finally finding it, then bringing it back to life?

Just kidding. You are right- but the artists will get credit as well.

Maybe we should split the points with the creator of the avatars.

In my case, Chissler.

I was unsure what to think for the last competition. But when I had a few members asking for my help, how could I turn them down?

The competition is loosely worded in my opinion. It is who has the best avatar, rather than who can create the best avatar. This opens it up I believe for more members to submit entries.

I'm happy to lend a hand for those looking to take part, but I do believe KL has a point.

Maybe a few additional points for a member who has submitted an avatar they created themself?

Who on God's green earth is going to police that?? How would you really know who made it?

If that's the case....you just ruined my supper too!! Oh wait, I haven't had supper yet

i agree but that would have to fall into the honor system but it is kinda a drag for those that created thier own to lose and see the winner saying thanxs to the one that made it for them.

I have enough optimism in our members that they would be honest in whether or not they created the avatar.

My problem with restricting the competition to submissions we create personally, is that many members would not be taking part.
