When we need food, who fails us? Humans do.

When we need shelter, who fails us? Humans do.

When we need clothing, who fails us? Humans do.

When we need medical care, who fails us? Humans do.

When we need words of comfort, who fails us? Humans do.

When we need words of consolation, who fails us? Humans do.

Who Never Fails Us? GOD!!!

when we need shelter, where is god?

when we need clothing, where is god?

when we need medical care, where is god?

when we need words of comfort, where is god?

when we need words of consolation, where is god?

and also, in all of the listed categories, humans don't always fail people

when was the last time god did anything to end the suffering of humanity (the PHYSICAL suffering, not spiritual)

madnessinmysoul, God gives us what we need when we need it. Humans frequently do not give what other humans need when they need it.

Our existence is designed for the Eternal Beauty of Heaven. However, if we do not give back to God through prayer and service, we may not make it there.

why the hell do we need to give god anything?

is god a master loan-shark?
because that's how it sounds to me
create beings, force them to repay you for something they didn't ask for
if they don't pay up, have some guy torture them for eternity

and what about all the starving children that need food, where is god to feed them?

We all suffer physically. Compare the one ounce of daily physical pain you experience with the Infinite pounds of suffering that Christ experienced on the Cross.

Without preaching, I believe that Jesus Christ is the path for you to understand pain (Spiritual or physical) more.

If humans fail the starving children and God doesn't as GreatTech says, and God tries to help the starving children through humans as queenannie says

... then umm...

Who's failing again?

kegs, who is failing? Be careful if you say God, because He is Infinitely Great and His rewards extend for Eternity and His power is mind-boggling.

Never cross God unless you expect or want punishment.

I asked the question first. And please don't threaten me, even metaphysically.

"Be careful if you say god.." "never cross God unless you expect or want punishment"

Sounds like a threat to me.

Anyway...

I've no further point .

This thread has no point or value.

God is my Creator and Savior.

Oh NO!

I AM so sorry for that, GT!

You are not alone, now, are you?

This whole thread was started on the wrong premise...

Your still thinking GOD is a person .. or in a definate location, DOING things..
Come on ... PEOPLE do things... GOD is HOW people do things..

When we are needing shelter, we are needing to find shelter ourselves.
When we are hungry, we are needing to find food ourselves.
When we are needing clothing, we are needing to cloth ourselves.
when we need words of comfort, we need to comfort ourselves.
when we need words of consolation, we should find it within ourselves

GreatTech, by saying GOD did all these things you are taking all the thunder away from the Humans, from YOURSELF... GOD DOES NOT NEED a pat on the back...He doesn't own ONE, he owns many... So pat your neighbours back, he is much more deserving than GOD, because GOD himself has said so. Dost thou wish to Thank GOD and push yourself out of Existance? Because if you do not thank those who GOD loves first how can you LOVE God?

You are confusing yourself.

It is eachother who never fails eachother.
Yet it is those eachother that do not recognize they are just like eachother that fail us.

God himself wrote in the bible, that HE CANNOT DIRECTLY INTERVENE... He acts THROUGH US... So if you want to glorify GOD allow him to WORK THROUGH you because that is YOUR DESIRE....This goes way beyond general semantics.. Because you think GOD is some white bearded stranger in some quadrant of space taking marks down on his laptop...

Thank you for your concern, queenannie38. You have a very loving heart.

Things are currently much better. I am on excellent terms with my family and have a new group of friends (my old friends are still friends, but we don't interact as much as we use to).

God Bless You and All!!!

"The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me; you restore my strength. You guide me along the right path for the sake of your name. Even when I walk through a dark valley, I fear no harm for you are at my side; your rod and staff give me courage. You set a table before me as my enemies watch; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Only goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the Lord for years to come." Psalm 23

May God Bless All with the True Love and Peace that only He can provide.

queenannie38, I am simple but not that simple. May all of us have a little bit of the spirit of the fictional but conceptually awesome Santa Claus this Christmas season. In addition to family and friends, maybe we can give to the truly needy this year such as the foodless, medical-care-less, shelterless, clothesless, blind, deaf, mute, sick, ill, diseased...

God Bless!!!
