I don't know if what you say is true or not, but I enjoy reading your thread and I think you believe what you say, and you very well may be speaking truth. Drums are somehow a unifying force that ties the within to the without (which is the 'within' which is in others)....

And belly dancing is a beautiful art - sensuous without revealing the mystique of feminine beauty. It is change, not death, why would God put us here and end it all while mankind is still in a state of confusion?

What would be the purpose in that?

Answer that simple question.

We are here to become much greater than we are. God did not put us here as sheep to just worship him/her and take us all down while we are still half monkey. You insult God to think him/her so petty. God is not petty and is NOT looking for worship! He wants us to experience everything this life as a human can offer then we become enlightened and are at that point ready for ascension.

My beloved brother - I do not follow but ONE - this has been my way for 38 years. I am too enamoured of my LORD to forsake Him for the popular delusions and madness of crowds....

Although I do love to mingle with all - for I love ALL. And in every pair of eyes I meet I see God shining bright with love. So I try to reflect it back so that they, too, will have the peace within that rests and waits for acknowledgement....

As far as what I believe in general, same as it ever was:

• God is TRUE.
  
• Christ lives!
  
• With God all things are possible.
  
• I am nothing except that that I am and that I was and will be again - the way God made me is just fine as far as I'm concerned.
  

Regarding the 'end is near' - that isn't so much a belief but rather a conviction (not of the world but of the current way of life and probably much of the geography)
and it is one that I've had (vaguely) since about the age of 8 years old and more definitely with observable evidence since about 2003.

The problem we face, as the human race, is not HOW to REVERSE the melting of the ice but rather HOW to manage and adjust to the inevitable changes that are beyond our control....such as:

sources of drinking water and ways to add nitrogen and compost materials to the arid sandy soils that will remain relatively as they were....
shelter and provisions for those who will be forced in land to the high desert regions...
sanitation in the certainty of crowded quarters in the near future....
encouraging evacuation of people living near faultlines, coastlines, and at the foot of volcanoes...
how to cope (but optimally prevent) the violence that comes from desperate unprepared people in times of shortage and crisis - without resorting to vigilante justice just to survive....
how to rebuild and trust one another in the ways of our ancient fathers who pioneered many lands against all odds....

The payback might very well be restitution and restoration of Eve's reputation...and the end of the oppression and disregard for the offerings of women and also the return of reverence and care for our Great Mother, Gaia....

God commanded that we honor our Father (Spirit) and our Mother (our Home)....but these days it is commonly held by the male-dominated religious world that any kind of regard for 'Mother Nature' is somehow satanic and will be punished. I daresay the opposite is true.

Any paybacks that come from that attitude are self-generated, IMO.

And certainly I am no 'woman's libber'

(I wear bras most of the time and certainly do not crave equality in the work place - especially if it involves holding a shovel or getting poo all over me - but I have other talents that I will gladly give all of to the common cause of the brothers AND sisters happiness and prosperity)

My understanding has always been rather simple - God made all things - so God made the stars - therefore the stars are not something to fear or to shun or to esteem as evil.

We all have a unique 'name' - as unique as our fingerprints - it is the exact location and time of our birth! No two people, even twins, share these stats....and because I understand the nature of both the microcosmic influences as well as that of the macrocosm, I knew my name (the one God gave me) and so when I read my call - reinforcing that which was in my heart - in the bible, no less! my faith was bolstered and I put every bit of my confidence in God's word to me and to the world and have had to face some overwhelming memories as well as unbelievable visions in these recent months.

Have you thought to yourself, ok why are we here, and what comes after heaven?

And what is 'heaven' other than the sky? Heaven is the way we will live in the coming years - after we have weathered the upcoming storms...I have seen the future, literally - and Utopia is not a fantasy but our goal....

Well said, my love! Well said! Death is catharsis and is nothing more than a threshold that must be crossed in order to get to the side that is life (in the true sense of vibrancy and fertility!)

No doubt! God is far too smart to be playing the types of games we think He ought to play! We like to play operation and anxiously dread that horrid buzzing when we get shaky extracting that dreaded funny bone...we like to play at 'perfection' and scurry in futile efforts to place square pegs in round holes only to have the incomplete job blow up in our face which then reacts with expletives and the sour flavor of gastric acid....
Not me....I like to play solitaire and I like to play the 'sit in the woods as quiet and as long as it takes for the deer to come up to graze within arm's reach.' I also like the 'lay on the grass and watch the cloud cartoons for hours' (which at night is called 'catch a falling star')

Answer that simple question.

I did my best - but really there is no answer, is there? Not in the fashion that we have come to expect answers to be....

the "end of times" has been mistaken how many times? well, i'll go ahead and say several. god is a circular god. he always comes full circle (to be redunant). he will allow man to do all that he is capable of. have we acheived that yet? i don't think so. we'll be our own demise a few more times. we've evolved, and evolution has taken how long?(retorical). think of ways that god can complete our journey and i think then you will know we have found ourselves back in the garden and restored.
