what one may call "imagination and searing blind faith" may be due to the fact they don't really know their own truth at all. it has been elluding you. you have not yet made an earnest attempt to quantify or define what your actions and behaviors are, nor are you consciously aware of your true intentions. and the intentions you are consciously aware of, you may not have not always addressed.

Thank you for the introspect. Believe me when I tell you that I don't need anyone telling me what has or hasn't elluded me. I have searched, analysed, and addressed my motivations, tendancies and behaviors to the point of nausea. (no joke) I continue to do so almost every second of consciousness. This is my tradgedy. But that's for another thread.

As far as Jesus message being cut short. The church would disagree with you. If some of the devout types that post here, and there not hiding from anyone, would just be upfront about their positions and rhetoric by exclaiming that they are from their own intereptations of their religion, then maybe more productive discussions could follow. But when you speak from a podium that is bolted to the ground, with a big brass plaque that is incribed with the religion of your choosing, you lose almost all credibility. Absolute thinking helps noone in the long run.
